Subject: Spiritual Enrichment and Education (SEE) Scholarships

Purpose: To assist students from our area to continue their studies at Unity Institute

Guidelines:

One S.E.E. Genesis scholarship per year may be awarded by Unity Institutel to each region.
The Southeast Region may award a second scholarship if two applicants of equal qualifications apply. Only one SEE scholarship per student. The sponsoring minister must submit a letter of recommendation to accompany the application form

The criteria for determining the recipient is as follows:
1. Completion of at least one previous session of SEE study at Unity Village.
2. The scholarship cannot be applied to the SDS Process, and is good for SEE class study only.
3.The candidate must plan to attend one or more SEE sessions at Unity Village in the same year of application.

Procedures:

1. A copy of the Application For SEE Genesis Scholarship form is available on the regions webpage . (Click Here for Application Form)

2. The deadline for receipt of applications with the sponsoring minister's letter, is March 1. The form and letter are to be sent to the SE Regional Representative.

3. Applications will be reviewed by the Regional Representative and the decision made by March 15.

4. When the scholarship has been awarded, the Regional Representative will notify the recipient and Unity Institute Education Department. They will also notify those who were not selected and suggest they try in the following year.

5. In the event a second scholarship is awarded, the Regional Representative will notify the regional office.

6. For the second scholarship, the regional office will send a check to the Eduation Department, Unity Institute, 1901 NW Blue Parkway, Unity Village, MO 64065-0001. This check will cover one week of SEE training and room and board. A letter showing who the scholarship is for shall accompany this check.
