9A-12 Noon  How to Grow Your Hybrid Congregation Using the Guest-to-Member Journey Map

Imagine the “journey” a person takes from the moment they discover your church/center, to trying you out, to becoming more involved in your spiritual community, to becoming an engaged and active member. The journey even continues when they leave the area and stay loyal and supportive to you.

How are you actively influencing people’s decisions to return, get involved, and donate to your success and growth? The Guest-to-Member Journey Map process can help you intentionally and creatively orchestrate the experience your guests have, transforming them into enthusiastic, participating members—and moving your members from silent observers to active volunteers and supporters.

As a result of this interactive workshop, you will be able to:

·       Understand and effectively use the Guest-to-Member Journey Map as an on-going tool to ensure church growth, including virtual, hybrid, and live;

·       Identify and evaluate Milestones and Touchpoints, to create powerful action plans for positive change, using our 36 Super Growth Strategies;

·       Reframe the experiences of guests and members, to ensure relevancy, value, and growth, and engage people at every touchpoint along the journey.

Combine a flair for the dramatic, a deep understanding of MetaSpiritual teachings, an ability to think outside the box, and a knack for bringing scientific research and spiritual practices to life in practical ways, and you have defined the dynamic duo at the heart of Unity Center for YOUniversal Prosperity.

Revs. Drs. Bil and Cher Holton  were ordained through the Unity Field Licensing Program in 2012. After serving pulpit ministries (2005-2014), they are now committed to a more global ministry through the Unity Center for YOUniversal Prosperity, a Unity-approved Events-driven alternative ministry. Their mission is to inspire people to awaken to their Divine Nature and walk the spiritual path on practical, positive, prosperous feet.

Revs. Bil & Cher are prolific authors, speakers, and coaches. They have published over 50 titles, including The Manager’s Short Course to a Long Career (ISBN1-893095-00-2) which was selected by SoundView Executive Summaries as one of their Top 30 Business Books, and New Metaphysical Versions of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — the first ever verse-by-verse metaphysical interpretation of the four Gospels.

On a personal note, Bil and Cher stretch their limits by taking Indiana Jones Vacations, such as White Water Rafting, Sky Diving, and even Fire Walking! But one of their proudest achievements is being National Amateur Student-Couple Ballroom Champions in several ballroom dance categories!

1:30P-3:30P  Connecting Ethics, Diversity and Spirituality

Connecting Ethics, Diversity and Spirituality

Aly Colón, Chair in Journalism Ethics at Washington and Lee University describes the connection between ethics and diversity by saying, “ethics serves as the soil in which the seed of diversity must be planted and from which our understanding of the relationship grows.” Each spiritual community has its own values, culture, and ethical standards--and diversity, equity and inclusion are foundational elements of the community’s values. In order to grasp diversity, equity and inclusion, a spiritual community must possess an ethical and fertile soil. This two-hour workshop qualifies for the one CEU hour required in ethics and boundaries and the one CEU hour needed in diversity and inclusion. Hank Lewis will facilitate the workshop and the panel discussion.

Hank Lewis is a Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) at CCU in Orlando, Florida. He is a member of the Unity Worldwide Ministries’ (UWM) LUT Ministry Team and is the LUT representative to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Region of UWM. He is the founder of Serving Ministries and Ministries Collaborative ( where he speaks at churches and teaches classes for those spiritual centers without licensed teachers.

Hank is the Assistant Director of Academic Program Quality at the University of Central Florida where he is also an affiliate faculty member in Women’s and Gender Studies.
